Our March Public Affairs Series comes at the perfect time (3 weeks into a 10 week long session) for you to learn about these issues and many more of interest to the East Metro community.

Hear directly from two East Metro Legislators about issues of concern for our region while enjoying a great lunch. Senator Susan Kent and Representative Erin Murphy will provide an overview of the session, including updates on transportation and bonding. In addition, Brian McClung, Partner and Co-Founder of MZA+Co, will be moderating the question and answer portion of this event. This is your chance to get the inside scoop!

Representative Erin Murphy is serving her fifth term in the MN House. She is currently the Deputy Minority Leader, and formerly served as Majority Leader. Representative Murphy is known for her intelligence, compassion, and drive. She represents District 64A, an “L” shaped district located entirely in Saint Paul.







Senator Susan Kent represents District 53, which includes Maplewood, Oakdale, Woodbury, and Landfall City. Currently serving her first term, Senator Kent is Vice Chair of the Senate Transportation and Public Safety committee. She has a background in strategic marketing and media, and has worked with a wide variety of businesses, giving her an understanding of the businesses and employers that contribute to our communities. 
  

Brian McClung is a Partner/Co-Founder of MZA+Co, a full-service public relations and public affairs firm based in St. Paul. MZA+Co is known for helping move the meter on key challenges that impact our clients, their stakeholders and the people and communities they serve. Brian has 20 years of experience at the intersection of media, politics and business as a television news reporter, campaign manager, communications strategist, and public relations executive.
