Senator Susan Kent and Representative Erin Murphy will provide an overview of the session, including updates on transportation and bonding. Representative Erin Murphy is serving her fifth term in the MN House. She is currently the Deputy Minority Leader, and formerly served as Majority Leader. Representative Murphy is known for her intelligence, compassion, and drive. She represents District 64A, an “L” shaped district located entirely in Saint Paul. Senator Susan Kent represents District 53, which includes Maplewood, Oakdale, Woodbury, and Landfall City. Currently serving her first term, Senator Kent is Vice Chair of the Senate Transportation and Public Safety committee. She has a background in strategic marketing and media, and has worked with a wide variety of businesses, giving her an understanding of the businesses and employers that contribute to our communities.
