Event Description: Dr. Osterholm is an international leader on the critical concern regarding our preparedness for pandemic diseases. He speaks to the threat of pandemic diseases, the impact it will have on worldwide business, and the steps we must take to better prepare for such events on a local, regional, and global level.

Dr. Mike Osterholm is the McKnight Presidential Endowed Chair in Public Health at the University of Minnesota and director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy a professor in the Division of Environmental Health Sciences, School of Public Health, a professor in the Technological Leadership Institute, College of Science and Engineering, and an adjunct professor in the Medical School, University of Minnesota.

He is also a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences and the Council of Foreign Relations.

At this event we will also recognize new members and our Celebrate Business Success Award recipient, the St. Paul Saints, sponsored by Briggs and Morgan Professional Association.
