The Business Journal will highlight what their judges look for in a nominee and what the selection process is like.
The evening will begin at 5:00 PM with open networking and hors d'oeuvres*, followed by rounds of engaging discussion with the panelists at 5:30 PM.

Sid Gandhi is Chief Strategy & Customer Engagement Officer for Securian Financial Group, Inc., & a member of its executive leadership team. In this role, he directs the development of the company's enterprise strategic plan & its focus on growing customer-centricity. Sid is responsible for mergers & acquisitions, enterprise strategy & the digital and marketing functions for Securian. Prior to joining Securian, Sid worked in 7 different countries while leading growth strategy & operational plan development & execution at an international consulting firm. While at Securian, Sid has led more than 25 strategic acquisitions, new investments, enterprise-level strategic planning & digital and marketing functions.
Amy is a healthcare architect & Senior Medical Planner working with healthcare organizations to plan & design facilities that allow them to deliver superior patient care. She is a co-founder of the AIA MN Women in Architecture Committee & director of Women in Design-Twin Cities. As a leader in the movement to enhance women’s roles in the design community, she advances women’s leadership through advocacy, professional development & dialogue. Amy leads gatherings throughout the Twin Cities & nationally to raise awareness surrounding equity & develop initiatives specifically related to strengthening women’s leadership roles in the industry.

As a Partner in Lindquist & Vennum’s Private Equity group, Mike leads high-value deals involving complex issues. Mike’s day-to-day role with Lindquist regularly involves working on, and finding desirable solutions to, complex and high-stakes deals worth well over $100 million. He represents many of the Twin Cities’ leading private equity firms and companies alike, both on acquisitions and in sales, and his clients routinely comment on his aptitude for solving legal issues and also his ability to create meaningful interpersonal relationships.
Arc's Value Village
Lead Stylist, has the inside scoop on all things thrift. With extensive retail experience and years of avid secondhand shopping, Michelle has developed an impressive knack for shopping and styling on a thrift store budget. In 2011, Michelle approached the team at Arc’s Value Village Thrift Stores with the innovative idea to offer the same personal shopping services found in high-end department stores at Arc’s Value Village stores, and customers responded enthusiastically. Michelle has been featured in several local newspapers, magazines and also on local television, including Twin Cities Live. To date, she has shopped with over 1,000 Value Village customers.
Joe Ravens started his career at Wells Fargo & Co. while still a college student in California, signing up as a teller. Seventeen years and 2,000 miles later, he’s running the bank’s entire Minnesota region, overseeing 157 locations and more than 2,300 team members. He took on his latest role in 2014, after a successful stint in charge of the Twin Cities west and southern Minnesota markets.
